Formulated a strategy and was instrumental in laying the foundation for a Centre of Applied Linguistics and International Rural University in SL for which I visited KITT University, Orissa, India in my capacity as the Vice President and International Dean of Resilience International Institute of Higher Learning in the Netherlands.
As a follow up, a 30 day English camp was arranged in Hambanthota which provided free training to 60 rural youth . This project was done jointly with the Ministry of Vocational Training .
